A catalogue for one-offs
Product pages and collections shaped around handmade and made-to-order pieces rather than warehouse stock.
We build
We grow
Not sure which you need? Most projects are a mix.
An online shop for handmade crochet. Everything is made to order and no two pieces are the same, so the catalogue had to cope with one-offs.
01The brief
J Charms makes handmade crochet. Everything is made to order and no two pieces are quite the same — which is exactly the kind of catalogue most e-commerce templates are not built for.
The store had to present one-off pieces well, take orders the way the business actually works, and be simple enough to run by the person making the products.
“Every piece I make is different, and most shop builders simply could not handle that. Bitbew built the store around the way I actually work, and showed me how to run it myself.”
02The live site
This is jcharms.in scrolling from the top of its home page — the real thing, not a mockup.

03What we built
Product pages and collections shaped around handmade and made-to-order pieces rather than warehouse stock.
An order flow that includes cash on delivery, which many of the label’s customers prefer.
A tracking page, so customers can see where an order has got to without sending a message.
Customer accounts with password reset, and product reviews.
Orders, products and customers in one place, with analytics and CSV exports.
04Decisions
The parts of the build that were a decision rather than a default, and why.
The catalogue follows how the pieces are actually made — once, or to order — instead of forcing them into stock counts.
The admin side is kept to what the person making the products needs between orders, and nothing else.
The same typed React and Supabase base as our other stores, so it runs on well-tested plumbing rather than a first attempt.
The services behind it
Online shops with a product catalogue, payments, discount codes, delivery, order tracking and the emails that go out after a sale.

A link to your Instagram or your current shop is plenty. We will come back with how we would set the store up, and what it would take.
