How we work — process, pricing & aftercareHow a project with us goes
A free call, a written plan with a fixed price per stage, a build you can watch happen, and a proper handover — then as much or as little looking-after as you want.
01How it works
A clear path from idea to live
No guesswork and no black boxes. Four stages, priced and agreed before anything is built, and you can watch the whole thing happen.
You’ll know the price before we start.
- 01
A call
Thirty minutes. You tell us what you want, we ask a lot of questions, and we tell you honestly whether software is the right answer at all.
- No charge
- No slides
- A straight answer
- 02
A written plan
What we would build, what it runs on, what it costs and how long it takes. Priced in stages and agreed before we start, so the price does not move halfway through.
- Fixed stages
- Named tools
- A real timeline
- 03
Building, in the open
We build in small pieces and put each one on a private link you can open whenever you like. You see it coming together and can ask for changes early, while they are still easy to make.
- Live from week one
- Weekly check-in
- Nothing hidden
- 04
Launch, and after
Deployed, documented and set up in your own accounts. We walk you through all of it, hand over the passwords, and stay available afterwards.
- Your accounts
- Written docs
- A proper handover
02Pricing
How pricing works
No price list, on purpose — a number on a web page is either a ceiling that scares off small jobs or a floor nobody pays. What we can tell you honestly is how the price is built.
- 01
A fixed price per stage
Agreed before each stage starts. No hourly billing, and no surprise invoice at the end.
- 02
Building and running are quoted separately
A build is a one-off price. Social media, ads and care are monthly. Take one without the other.
- 03
Ad spend and creator fees stay separate
Ad budgets are paid by you, directly to Google and Meta. Creator fees are agreed with you before anyone is booked. Neither is mixed into our fee.
- 04
What moves the price
How many pages or screens, connections to systems you already use, how ready your words and photos are, and how soon you need it.
03After launch
Looked after, not left
And then
Software needs looking after
A site is not finished the day it launches. Security updates come out, payment providers change how they work, certificates expire, and there is always one more small change to make. The care plan covers all of that.
What it covers
- Monitoring, so we find out something is down before you do
- Security updates and patches
- Backups, and a tested way to restore them
- A few hours a month for small changes and fixes
- Priority on anything urgent
The first three months come with every project. After that it is monthly or yearly, whichever suits you, with no lock-in either way.
04Questions
The things people ask first
Everything below has been asked on a real call. If yours is not here, ask it — the answer will be just as direct.
stupid one. Ask the
awkward ones first.
01What does it cost?
It depends on what you want, so we quote after the call rather than putting an invented number on a web page. What we can tell you now is how the pricing works: a fixed price per stage, agreed before that stage starts. No hourly billing, and no surprise invoice at the end.
02Is my project too small?
Probably not. A one-page shop that takes payments properly is a perfectly good project, and some of our favourite work is a small tool that saves someone a few hours every week.
If it turns out that something you can buy off the shelf would do the job, we will say so on the call and point you at it.
03Do you only build it, or run it too?
Either. We can build the thing and hand it over, or keep running what goes out afterwards — the posts, the reels, the replies, and the ads if you want them.
They are quoted separately and neither is a condition of the other. Plenty of people take one and not the other, and we would rather that than have you pay for something you do not need.
04Do you only work with businesses in Mohali?
No. The studio is in Mohali and we are happy to meet in person around Mohali, Chandigarh and Panchkula, but most of the work happens over calls and a shared link — so businesses anywhere in India, or outside it, work with us exactly the same way.
05Why a small studio?
You talk to the person writing the code. Questions get answered the same day instead of passed along a chain, decisions get made in one message, and nothing is lost between the person you met and the person building it.
That is a real advantage on a project this size. For something very large, an agency with a big team is the better choice — and we would rather tell you that on the phone than find out together in month four.
06How long does it take?
A website or a straightforward shop is usually a few weeks. Something with user accounts, dashboards and a proper backend behind it takes longer, and anything involving AI depends a lot on how tidy your existing data is.
You get real dates in the written plan, broken into stages, and you can watch progress on a live link the whole way through.
07Who owns what you build?
You do. The code we write for you, the designs, the database and the content, all of it in your own accounts and in your name from day one.
One exception, which we would rather say here than bury in a contract: the general-purpose pieces we bring with us — our component library, the checkout module, our deployment setup — stay ours, and you get a permanent licence to use them in your product. It is the reason you are not paying us to build the same plumbing from scratch every time.
08What do you build with?
Mostly TypeScript and React on the front, Node or Python behind it, Postgres for the database, and whichever AI provider suits the job. We pick well-known, boring tools on purpose, so any developer can pick the project up after us.
09What happens after launch?
Your first three months of care are included: monitoring, security updates, backups, and a few hours a month for the small changes that always come up once real people start using it.
After that it carries on as a monthly or yearly plan if you want it to. Most people keep it, because we already know how the thing is built and it is usually the quickest way to get the next change made.
